Everything started in 1966 when the founders, Anna and Martin Dirkes, decided to turn their land around a former quarry and a goat breeding station into a campsite. Their aim was to give the guests an unforgettable and totally relaxing camping holiday in the middle of the countryside. The site is located on the Schafberg, one of the foothills of the Wiehen Hills and Teutoburg Forest.
The entire campsite is surrounded by three beautiful valleys and the famous parkland landscape of Münsterland.
